Sarah Wallace is a young Edmonton area midwife who is making her home in Haiti. Her dream is to run a maternity clinic in Jacmel, Haiti. She has realized that in order to save children in Haiti, she needs to rescue the mothers, too. Consequently, she is working with women teaching nutrition, childcare, craft making and other life skills. (www.olivetreeprojects.com)
I went down there to help the people of Haiti before the earthquake, so now when they need me more than ever, why would I come home? Sarah Wallace, Jacmel, Haiti
Thus far, Sarah has been interviewed by CTV and CBC radio and was listed on CNN as one of the world’s most intriguing people in the news. Please see this link for further information.
